Barceló Hotel Group, S.A. ("Barceló", "we") operates this ChatGPT application ("the App") as an MCP connector that facilitates hotel search, availability queries, and booking link generation.

2. Data We Collect

The App does not collect, store, or process personal data from users. Specifically:

• We do not request names, email addresses, phone numbers, or identity documents.
• We do not access ChatGPT conversation history.
• We do not use precise geolocation (GPS).
• We do not process payments or credit card data.

3. Technical Data

When the App is used, the following technical data is temporarily processed:

• Query parameters: cities, dates, number of guests — required to execute searches.
• Quota counters: an anonymous daily counter to manage usage limits. Not linked to any user.
• Server logs: standard technical logs (timestamps, response codes) without personally identifiable information.

4. Purpose of Processing

• Provide information about Barceló hotel properties.
• Query room availability and pricing.
• Generate booking links to barcelo.com.
• Maintain service usage limits.

5. Data Sharing

Query parameters are sent to:

• Barceló internal APIs (availability and knowledge base) hosted on Google Cloud Platform.
• OpenAI (vector store search to resolve hotel names).

We do not share data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

Quota counters reset daily. Server logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days. No query data is stored persistently.

7. Security

All communications use HTTPS/TLS. API keys are managed through Google Cloud Secret Manager. Access is protected by Bearer token authentication.

8. User Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no data subject to access, rectification, or deletion requests. If you have questions, please contact us.
